I missed Desperate Housewives on Sunday. Can someone please tell me what happened? I need highlights, people!!!! I also missed Boston Legal...was it even on? That show moves so slowly anyway, I doubt I missed much there.

My guitar teacher is in a band called Ten Tiers. Here is their web site. He's the lead singer/guitarist guy. He's trying to get Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains fame to come listen to their shows. He is also teaching us "Time is on My Side" by the Rolling Stones and "Scarborough Fair." Tee hee!

So, I've got this wild cat on my hands. Merlyn. He's a pixie-bob and by nature is really very wild. His behavior is out of control of late so I've decided to make some changes around the house. First of all, we're going to change his food. The breeder up in Durango told me about the corn, wheat and soy products that are in most of the cat food on the market and how feeding those products to a carnivorous animal like cats is like feeding a two year old child a cup full of sugar. Thereby affecting their behavior. This is especially apparent in the wilder breeds like Pixies and bengals. So she sent us home with some special food that's supposed to be magic and help improve his behavior. We still need to mix it with his current food to make the transition.
At the same time, I decided that we don't play with Merlyn nearly as much as we should. He is, after all, still a kitten and kittens need to play and be actively stimmulated regularly. So, Honey and I went to the pet store yesterday and invested $50 in a variety of new and fun cat toys! We played with a teaser (feather on a stick) with Merlyn for a half hour last night, which left him literally panting and heaving for air. He was a happy boy! Check it out:

The ball in the spinny thing provides hours of fun

Sometimes, you need to get at it from a different angle

And then the fantastic feather toy!!!

Makes me tired

And a little crazy-looking
