Well, after three movies (Finding Neverland, I Heart Huckabees and Hotel Rwanda), six back-to-back select episodes of the X-Files (from the new collection called Abduction), and a long day of ultimate boredom, my back is FINALLY starting to feel a bit better! The pain is not as sharp or severe when I get up, walk, etc. I had Honey help me stretch my leg backwards in a way that the doc suggested and that felt GREAT! This morning I was able to get up, carefully shave my ready-for-cornrows hairy legs in the bathtub and then take a nice long shower. It felt so good! Now I'm back in the chair to recoup my energy and strength for another go at activity later today. I might go to the Bark Park with Honey and the dog. I need to get out of this house, get some fresh air, see the sun.

I confirmed that physical therapy is covered under my insurance, though I was unable to find an in-network provider close to my house. The good news is I think chriopractic medicine is also covered and I did find several providers nearby.

Yesterday I only took one muscle relaxer. I'm trying to stay away from the Vicodin as much as possible. Although I may need to take one if I'm going to the Bark Park this afternoon. We'll see.

My two year wedding anniversary is coming up in two days. Honey's thinking of taking Weds off so we can go have a nice long romantic dinner Tuesday night and then go get my new bike on Weds. My dad gave me his old bike that he rarely rode so we're going to get that tuned up and maybe some new handlebars on it for Honey to use. He's psyched. That's our anniversary gift to each other...bicycles. So we can take bike rides together. :)

I think I'm rambling. Can you tell I haven't had much human-contact in the past few days?!?! I need to get out of here!!!
