Honey's buying me a new digital camera before we leave for our trip. We have a great digital camcorder that takes stills but I want something more compact that takes better quality still photos (for my blog, of course!). I did some basic research on the net yesterday and have so far narrowed it down to six cameras: two Canon Powershots (SD500 and S70), two Sony Cybershots (DSC-W7 and DSC-P200), and two Nikon Coolpixes (7600 and 7900). We'll probably go fondle some of them over the weekend. But before I go, do you have any suggestions, recommendations, reviews on these cameras for me?
