I totally forgot to post about the amazing movie I saw on Saturday! We went to see Serenity. AHhhhhh blessed Serenity. We started watching Firefly reruns on SciFi via TiVo a couple months ago and we were instantly hooked! Then we heard about the movie and about peed our pants from geek-citement! The movie was AWESOME! Not your typical cookie-cutter-movie-screenplay. Super surprises (some not so happy ones), comic relief and intense suspense (Reavers!!!!). INCREDIBLE MOVIE! If you’re a fan of Firefly, GO SEE IT. If you’re a fan of Buffy and are therefore somewhat familiar with the genius that is Joss, go rent Firefly and watch them all, then GO SEE THE MOVIE! If you don’t know what any of what I just said means, then don’t bother seeing the movie. It is totally an “inside joke.”
