What To Read
The Tree Bride was sucking so bad I had to stop reading it. It was supposed to tell the history of this Indian chick’s great-aunt who was married to a tree. But once it started into the historical facts, it wasted 30some pages on a seafaring boy. Blah. Boring. No thankyou. I cringed every time I tried to pick it up and read it and when I did try to read it, my mind kept wandering. So why waste my time?! Pitched it. I’m not going to the book club meeting tomorrow night because I didn’t like the book so much. There are other clubs in my area that I can attend next time. No worries.
I wanted to read The Glass Castle next but I left it at home! DOH! So I picked up and started The Ivy Chronicles instead. I can’t put it down! Such an easy read and so silly! Those of you who want to start reading and discussing for the book club, go check that one out.
I’m still in Kansas. We decided to take two days to leisurely head home so we’re at a nice hotel in Goodland, KS. They have a Taco Johns! WHOO HOO!!!!
Be home tomorrow! TTYL!
