So, the other day, I was playing with a particular boy at school. He wanted me to chase him in some sort of Star Wars/Power Rangers/IceAgeTheMeltdown fashion. Which I did for a few minutes. Then I stopped for a breather and told him I wanted to take a break. Here’s the conversation that insued:

Boy: C’mon, Miss Abbey. Please let’s just play dinosaurs okay?
Me: Aww, Miss Abbey’s tired now. Let me take a break. Why don’t you go find __ and play dinosaurs with him for a while?
Boy: Naw. I wanna play with you.
Me: Hmm.
Boy: Well. But. We could play dinosaurs and you could be the slow dinosaur that doesn’t move a lot.

Niiiiiiiiiice. So Miss Abbey is hereby categorized as The Lazy Dinosaur. What a reputation! LOL
