Now I’m pissed
Honey and I used to have great health insurance through his place of employment. But earlier this year, they switched insurance companies and they have finally pissed me off!
To summarize: Remember last month when I was having all that trouble with my painful teeth? Well, with all the pain and bouncing back and forth between two or three dentists, I ended up getting three different prescriptions for pain killers. The last one I only asked for six pills because the previous two scripts didn’t even work and I didn’t want to waste the money or the pills if this one didn’t work. It’s irrelivant but they did work and I only took two and everything’s fine now. But I guess the insurance company threw up some red flags when they saw these three prescriptions go through for me withing two weeks. So they called to offer me some kind of helpful-nurse-who-will-call-to-check-on-my-well-being bullshit. Basically, it’s a registered nurse who was supposed to call and help me manage my pain by offering me helpful photocopies through the mail and other such magical medical nonsense. They never SAID that they knew about the pain killers but I’m pretty sure that’s why they called in the first place.
