I just got home from my first periodontist appointment regarding this situation. The bad news is that I have to have surgery in all four quadrants of my mouth. The good news is…well, there really is no good news. This surgery crap involves removing the gum tissue from four different teeth (4 in each quad of my mouth for a total of 16 teeth), scraping/grafting bone from where my wisdom teeth used to be, grafting it onto those teeth, then stitching the gum back together.

YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!

I’m pissed off. I’m stomping and kicking my foot like a bratty child from time to time. I spent a good half hour futilely beating myself up for avoiding the dentist for so long. And then Honey calmed me down and now I’m trying to accept it.

My first surgery for half my mouth isn’t until April 6. I want to hurry up and get it all done so I can start healing, improving and then get back to trying to have a baby. But the way things are looking, I probably won’t be able to get back to it until next year sometime.
Again with the stomping and kicking of feet.

I’m exhausted from cardio workout last night, irritable from PMS this week and defeated from the appointment this morning. I’m taking the morning off from work in order to “get a grip.” Trying to go to class at noon…….

I joined a gym yesterday.

Tonight in the middle of my first Core workout class I discovered that I have muscles in my tummy!

I’m dying my hair red today. Since it’s not my natural color, I guess Robbins could consider me made of “Splenda and intrigue.”

I’m using an “all natural” hair color I picked up at Whole Foods. It’s made from vegetable products, no nasty chemicals. It’s not burning my eyes. I’ve always wanted red hair so here’s hoping it doesn’t turn out too goth!

The ladies in the “back room” (ie the younger group of kiddos at work) have recently begun to maintain a small fish tank. They’ve had some fatalities but it’s starting to stabilize and they keep bringing more fish in.
