All my little gems
Ooooooooooooooo Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Oohhhhhhhhhh!
Honey and I just got back from a long and blissful trip to Second Spin. It’s only like one of my favoritest stores in the world! Used CDs, DVDs and games as far as the eye can see. Unbeatable prices. Incredible selection! It’s all the way downtown in an area we rarely visit anymore (although there once was a *dangerous* time when I worked next door…literally!) so it’s a big treat when we do get over there to it.
We spent about two hours searching for a couple particular titles we’ve both been looking for and stumbling across many more titles we weren’t but suddenly could not live without! Honey likes his industrial and bluegrass music, I like relaxing meditation tunes, female artists and old school favorites. All of these types of music are way too expensive for us to buy them all new at stores like Best Buy. So when we do get around to Second Spin, it’s almost like we’re going to Disneyland or something. We totally splurge. Check out what I scored today:

Faeries: A Musical Companion to the Art of Brian Froud - Who knew there was music compiled to accompany his incredible artwork?! >:)

Ray Lynch, Deep Breakfast - I used to read Tarot cards to this album 17 years ago.
![]()
The Black Eyed Peas, Monkey Business - these guys (and Fergie) are just plain FUN to listen to!
![]()
Dixie Chicks, Home - I don’t even like country but these girls are too cute! And I really want their new album, for which they won many Grammys. But I’ll settle for this one for now.

Jane’s Addiction, Jane’s Addiction - one of the best live albums ever. And their version of Sympathy is almost as good (if not better) than the Stones’.
![]()
Bombay Beats - I don’t know what this is but Honey listened to it and thought I would like it. Only $8 for 24 songs in a box set. We’ll see…
And then Honey got…

A-ha, Hunting High and Low - Don’t even ask…???
![]()
Fade to Bluegrass: The Bluegrass Tribute to Metallica
![]()
Intermix, Phaze Two - I have no idea what this is. But maybe you do?
Also came home with a used copy of Fargo and Peter Pan. All that for under $100! Clearly we hit the motherlode!
So if you would like me to *ahem* share some of this with you, please don’t hesitate to ask. *ahem*
