Post post and a Fire for you
I survived CAKE yesterday and my doctor’s visit. Some of the numbers on my bloodwork looked a little high and concerning to me but I’ve emailed the doc for clarification and will let you know when I find out anything.
Per the Doc: CA 19-9 remains within normal range. We often see some fluctuations. The CT scan will be the most important indicator, as well as how you feel!
(The CA 19-9 was a tumor marker she had run and the numbers have been climbing slowly since December, indication to me that the tumor might be growing? or retaliating against the chemo?It’s concerning because tumor markers run on my blood since October all came up clear, ie no indications in my blood that there is even a tumor! Which was why it took so damned long to diagnose!)
Today it’s back to the couch for me. The yuckiness has set in. And though I slept 12 hours last night I feel like I only slept 2. Ugh. See you in a while!
