We are home!
We drove through lots of snow, rain and sleet but we all made it home safe and sound!
As you can see from Honey’s post from yesterday, we had a great time in Santa Fe, even though I lost a crown from one of my molars. I didn’t actually lose it…it came off with a piece of Starburst I was chewing. One shot of novacane, stronger cement and a very nice dentist later, I’m as good as new! Mouth’s still a little sore from the novacane but I thought he would have to do a lot more drilling than he actually did and I didn’t want to feel any additional pain. Chomp chomp!
We were only able to do about half of what all I wanted to do while in Santa Fe but we sure had fun at that! We shopped at some of our favorite stores, ate at some great restaurants, visited that awe-inspiring church and brought home some magic dirt!
I’d like to write more but I can’t right now. We just got home and have to eat dinner, find a place for the dogs to stay tomorrow night, unpack, repack, and get a good night’s sleep before my operation tomorrow. I’ll take my laptop and they do have free internet at the hospital — whether or not I’ll feel like posting tomorrow evening remains to be seen. But if I do, it will probably be super fun reading for you cause I’ll be on all kinds of wonky pain killers! Horray!
Catch you on the flip side!
