Alright, I’m worn out from my first day on the beach but here are a couple of pictures to share with you…

Here’s me under the Barrett tent catching some shade with some family. I saw three dolphins swimming across the horizon for a while. I sorta wanted to jump in and swim out to them but I’m pretty sure that’s illegal (much like stealing the wee salt and pepper shakers, dad!).

We had a sandcastle building contest this morning and one team made “SpongeBarrett Square Pants” in the sand! You can see probably a third of the family gathered around.

Tonight we had a nice buffet reception, including all you-can-eat pre-cracked crab legs and lots of dancing afterwards. I learned a new line dance that includes some moves from Saturday Night Fever and the Chicken Dance! Got to visit with lots of great people and hear a lovely prayer led by cousin Laura (who married us five years ago!).

Tomorrow is the “Ladies’ Luncheon” and Ice Cream Social and Game Night! There’s a lot to do on vacation!
